What was the highlight of Alia Palace Hotel

Very Good

The views from this hotel are breathtaking. I couldn't get over the view and there are two infinity pools at the hotel which are ideal for pictures. The hotel is up on a hill with a view of the village, the sea and the second Halkidiki peninsula as well as incredible sunset views at nighttime. The hotel buffet is very well presented, and at most tastes delicious. Lots of choice and variety as well. Reasonable times for this too. There are spa facilities at the hotel and we were able to take advantage of that at a short notice which was a lovely change from other places that need weeks of notice. The staff are friendly and try to be helpful. There's a golf cart for helping move luggage around and parking space for cars. There's also a mini bus taking people to the village and/or beach.

There wasn't much to advertise the live events at the hotel, and other than a screen at reception, there wasn't much to advertise the excursions either. The hotel could improve on communication on such areas. The staff don't seem to be very up to date or give the same information - for example we were told of a discount (or free) for sunbeds at the beach but both of these information pieces seemed to be incorrect. Some things in the hotel could do with a bit of refresh (for example worn out cables of ironing boards). The gym is kind of small and can just about fit three people.

Nice and comfortable

Very nice and clean , the room was comfy and the pool beds are so nice and comfortable… rooms with a pool no point in getting the pool room it is super small and is right up the top of the hill not the best in the heat.

The food is not labelled what each dish has in it , I am gluten free and I did have a reaction from some of the food due to not knowing what was in it .

Very Good

The hotel is very beautiful and it is huge complex with many buildings and rooms. The view from the restaurant and the restaurant are definitely for 5 stars especially the food and the personal. The rooms are spacious and very clean.

Some rooms need renovation. There was few ant nests in the first room (standard room) but we changed the room on third night because the noise from allaround us, the other room was with private pool but older than the first one with smaller bed and most uncomfortable bed in the world which was creacking even if you gently seat on it so it was tricky to sleep on it . The main issue in the hotel is the worst soundproof ever. You can hear everything from the neighbors and also you can't sleep later then 8am because the cleaning ladies are starting to clean the rooms at 8-9am and it is impossible to sleep because they are dragging things, vacum cleaning the floors and so on and so on...when i asked if it is possible to postpone the cleaning for an hour they said that is the rule and cant be changed

Fantastic and will stay again.

Junior suite was lovely with amazing views. Can always get a sunbed around the pool. Shuttle bus to and from town was an added bonus.

Smoking shouldn’t be allowed in the dining area. Waiters should come round more to ask for drink orders

A pleasant experience

Very clean, good breakfast, excellent pools, nice view (if you choose room with sea view). Nice staff (boys from reception), the driver, and all the cleaning department.

There is no wardrobe in the room! Tne lady from reception should look at the customers and especially answer to them!

Wonderful

In comparison to Easter time, it was much more relaxed (even though there were still guests for the last working weekend!) and the food was much better!

No negatives, me and my boyfriend really enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere.

The view, the food, the room.

In the beginning they gave us a room without see view although we ordered one. When we complain they told us that they don't have a room, and the hotel is fully booked. When we insist a room with a see view was found.

Wonderful

We had reserved a standard double room, but it was fully booked, so we were upgraded to an apartment with a private pool. The staff is friendly, and the beds are comfortable. Meals are tasty and varied. The hotel has a shuttle bus that runs every hour if you want to go to the beach or downtown.

The pool bar is open from 9:00 AM to 1:00 AM. We had all-inclusive but drinks are free until 10 PM, and you aren't allowed to bring beverages into the apartment. The wifi connection was periodically poor at the pool.

Best Hotel on the Halkidiki

The best property in all of Halkidiki, excellent service available at any time ( the rooms I booked weren’t available and they happily upgraded our suite) , hygiene and cleanliness of the highest standards, mouthwatering food, a dozen pools to choose from , luxury amenities and breathtaking nature surrounding the property. Highly recommend for anyone choosing where to stay in Halkidiki, make the drive to Alia Palace it’s worth it.

Amazing location with two infinity pools, great for resting.

Amazing location, on top of the hill. Great sunrises and sunsets and also great room service. Perfect for going to get some rest. Staff was trying to be polite all the time.

Food court was too small, not so many dishes that you can choose from. The “manager” (women) was always there (kitchen) checking who is taking what food, something that a 5 star hotel should not have. Makes you feel uncomfortable. There were people under the age 16.
